Patients Aged 16 – 17
All 16 and 17 year olds can now have their Covid-19 vaccine. This is one dose.
Currently this age group is not able to book an appointment via the national booking site and GPs will not be vaccinating in practice. However you can use walk-in sessions to get vaccinated - this includes at Saints.
You can search all ‘Grab a jab’ drop-in vaccination sessions that will vaccinate 16-17 year olds with no appointment needed here
Please get vaccinated before the return to school/college to protect yourself and others.
Have you had your Covid vaccination yet? You can also now have your 2nd after 8 weeks.
Covid Vaccination Update
St Helens GPs will be booking the Priority Risk groups from 1-6, the most recent being group 6 which includes adults aged 16 – 65 with underlying health problems, which put them in the “at risk” group for more please go to the Government website at:-
Patients Aged 60 and over with no underlying health conditions and registered carers will be the next ones on the list to be contacted for their first dose of the Covid vaccine.
To register as a carer, please complete the referral form which is in the “News” section of our website.
We will then be contacting Over 80s for their second vaccine.
We urge ALL PATIENTS TO LET US HAVE THEIR MOBILE NUMBER as this will be the most efficient way to book your Covid vaccination appointments.
If you have received a national letter inviting you to book on line, this is an alternative option available to you.
If you are in one of the priority risk groups shown above and you have not had the vaccine then please ring us and we will do our best to get an appointment at a convenient date and time for you.
We are ONLY offering Covid vaccinations at Langtree Park, Saints Rugby Ground, this facility is being run by ALL the GP Surgeries in St Helens and we look forward to seeing you there.
Old Whint Surgery - Haydock.
We now ask all patients attending the Surgery to wear a face mask or face covering; which can be homemade. This is to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID19 and to help prevent a second peak of infection.
